Kerby Centre For Seniors

Purpose
The purpose of this program is to enhance quality of life for mature persons. Promotion of dignity, independence and a sense of purpose for seniors from all walks of life.

Activities
The activities of this program include a multipurpose facility with a wide range of social, recreation, fitness and educational activities. Includes travel club, dining room, wellness centre, and adult day program.

Reason for Success
The program is successful because seniors provide most of the input regarding preferences for services. Seniors develop, organize and implement the services available to their peers with support from professional and semi-professional staff.
